February 7th

Well the first week in February 2016 has been a busy one. First I finished my small crochet cushion.

Then we went for a couple of days in the Lake District for my birthday. I was a bit worried that the weather would be against us but I needn't have worried, it was fine and still despite being cold. We had a walk around Derwent Water and here are some of the pictures I took which show the damage the high water levels and storms have done.

It wasn't all bad, the views were tremendous and I just love this tree.

Then we went up to Ashness Bridge. Some great markings on the stones.

Back home and I have finished another antimacassar Kantha stitched piece and another one that has been hiding since before  Christmas will be completed soon.

I have also found some more Caleido lace weight yarn and have started a new mini granny square throw to match my mini cushion. So all in all this week has been pretty busy.
