A new 'fabric' for you to see. This has a backing of fine scrim and two layers of crumpled white tissue which I then painted with acrylic paints and gold Fingering and then stitched into the piece with a machine stitch. I crumpled the 'fabric' even more when it was dry and it is now quite soft and manipulable. You might gather that I'm having fun creating these fabrics, I just love the beautiful texture of this piece.

Thats beautiful Sheila, whatare you planning to do with it?
Ah Christine, all I will say, for now, is that all the created fabrics are going into one final piece. It's an item for my City and Guilds Diploma and until it's finished I don't want to show the whole as it is changing all the time.
Oh that is gorgeous Sheila. So looking forward to seeing the final result. :0)
Lovely! Looking forward to see the finish piece.
